Today, I’m sharing my playthrough log for “DarkSiren,“ a heart-pounding survival horror escape game where you’re hunted by a terrifyingly gorgeous lady! This post covers my experience playing through Normal Mode.

When you open your eyes, you find yourself inside a eerily quiet, empty ship. Before you fully grasp the situation, you catch sight of the “DarkSiren" wandering through the hallways, actively searching for you. What on earth happened here…? With no answers in sight, a desperate game of survival begins!
⚓ Waking Up on a Doomed Ship: Horror Gameplay ⭐
The story begins as you wake up alone in a bed onboard the ship.
Stepping cautiously out of the room, you’re immediately greeted by the terrifying—yet strangely beautiful and alluring—monster known as the Siren!
The Siren paces silently through the corridors, and getting caught 3 times means Game Over! Your goal is to carefully search the vessel while sneaking past her gaze to avoid detection.
…Although, getting caught and held close by a beautiful lady might not be the worst way to go, right? (lol) 💜
🔍 Exploration Tips & Survival Mechanics 📜
In each room, you’ll find “notes" that detail the harrowing plight of the crew who were once here.
In Normal Mode, the game is quite player-friendly—the locations of these notes are marked on the map as black dots!
Because of this, the exploration difficulty is kept fairly low.
You can breeze through the game and collect them all without ever getting lost!
That said, the protagonist does have a few drawbacks: they’re not very fast, and their stamina is rather limited.
Once you’ve managed to track down all 20 notes scattered throughout the ship, you’ll finally be on your way to the escape ending!
⚠️ SPOILER ALERT! The Shocking Ending(Only read ahead if you don’t mind ending spoilers!) ⚠️
Just when you think you’ve safely made your escape, a sudden plot twist strikes—a second Siren appears right in front of you!
With nowhere left to run, my journey ended with the Siren gently pulling me into an eternal sleep as we sank deep into the pitch-black ocean floor… It was a complete Bad Ending! Then again… being embraced by a gorgeous Siren as you sink into the abyss? Some might actually consider that a reward! (lol) 💜

💬 Overall Impressions 💜
Normal Mode served as a great tutorial to get used to the basic controls and the spooky atmosphere!
Since the Siren follows a consistent patrol route, you can manage quite well once you figure out her movement pattern. That being said, rounding a corner and bumping directly into her will make your heart jump straight out of your chest—pure adrenaline!
It’s an extremely approachable horror game, making it a fantastic entry point for anyone new to the hide-and-seek genre✨
