A Reunion with a Nostalgic Coffee Shop: Salt Yakisoba and a Milkshake on My Walk – Riri Ititama / Vtuber”

2026年11月7日

Today, please let me tell you about a wonderful little shop I found on one of my walks, which have become my daily routine lately.

Lately, I’ve been enjoying strolling leisurely around town.

Of course, I take days off when I have work schedules or when it rains… but on sunny, clear days, I sometimes stretch my legs a little farther♪

When you’re out walking, you find yourself drawn into shops you would normally just pass by, don’t you?

This time, it’s a story that began with just such a chance reunion.

☕ A Reunion with a Nostalgic Coffee Shop

The other day, while I was out walking, a nostalgic coffee shop I had visited just once long ago appeared before my eyes.

Thinking “Ah, this brings back memories…," I let myself be drawn inside.

The shop is a coffee shop, but actually, okonomiyaki and yakisoba are its main dishes (looking at the menu, you can’t help thinking, “Huh? Where’s the coffee shop part…? lol").

But please rest assured♪

Proper coffee shop staples like Neapolitan spaghetti and toast are on the menu too, and for some reason even the set meals are substantial – it’s a very mysterious yet comfortable space.

It was just lunchtime and I was hungry, so I ordered the menu items that caught my eye.

🍽️ A Happy Lunch

Here are the 2 dishes I ordered this time♪

🥢 Fragrant “Salt Yakisoba"

First, the meal.

Instead of sauce, I chose the refreshing “salt yakisoba".

It had an authentic flavor, like it was made on the iron griddle of an okonomiyaki shop, and my chopsticks just kept going✨

🥛 A Nostalgic “Milkshake"

And for dessert and accompaniment, I chose, of all things, a “milkshake"!

I don’t usually have the chance to drink one, but this was truly, incredibly delicious…!

Cold, gently sweet, with a faintly rich egg flavor.

It was exactly that “taste of nostalgia," and with every sip, a happy feeling spread through me.

●For readers in Japan, a nostalgic milkshake to enjoy at home is here♪

💭 Finally

In the middle of hectic everyday life, time spent forgetting the hours and relaxing like this is truly precious, isn’t it?

It was a wonderful refresh.

Do you have a shop near you that is “a little unusual, but a calming favorite" like this?

If you have any recommended menu items, please tell me✨

Well then, that’s all for today. Bye-tama~💖
