Following on from Episode 1, I watched it… Episode 2 of “Restaurant to Another World"!
Let me tell you my honest feelings right now.
“Fried food late at night is criminally delicious!!!" (Sob)
The crispy coating, the juices overflowing… my stomach just wouldn’t stop growling, it was terrible.

📖Synopsis
A Western restaurant connected to another world, “Nekoya."
Sarah, a treasure hunter, finds Nekoya by following her late grandfather’s notes, and encounters the menchi katsu he once loved.
Heinrich, a knight of the duchy, reaches Nekoya in the middle of a life-or-death mission, and his heart is saved by fried shrimp that reminds him of his hometown.

The first menu item is menchi katsu!
The new character, Sarah, is a treasure hunter and a beauty with sharp, upturned eyes… ✨
She seems a little strong-willed, but the way she adventures in search of treasure is so cool.
The scene where she finds Nekoya by following her grandfather’s notes really warmed my heart.
And the daily special she ordered turned out to be the menchi katsu her grandfather once loved…
Fate is a funny thing♪
Knowing there are memories tied to the food between her late grandfather, the Master, and the regulars is just so lovely.
And still… that menchi katsu juice!
Watching her eat so happily while giving her food report made me want to eat it right away!
🍤 Fried Shrimp: A Knight’s Pride and the Temptation of Tartar Sauce
The next menu item is fried shrimp!
This is the story of Heinrich, a knight of the duchy.
At the start, the regular Tatsugoro, known as “Teriyaki," appears holding a sword, and from there Heinrich’s past is told.
On a truly life-or-death mission — going alone to call for reinforcements to save a fort being attacked by a swarm of mothmen — he reaches Nekoya, and there he encounters fried shrimp that reminds him of his hometown…
Combined with how hungry he was, of course he ate a lot.
I love shrimp too, so that crispiness was irresistible!
Tartar sauce is great, but Worcestershire sauce is hard to give up too…
Having so many ways to enjoy it is part of the charm♪
And Heinrich — offering his precious sword as collateral because he had no money? Way too earnest! lol
Plus, his voice is Tomokazu Sugita, so even the serious scenes felt somehow surreal and made me laugh lol
Sugita’s voice is cheating~! I love it, though!

Once again, everything looked absolutely delicious!

Fried food really is justice!
