🇺🇸 High School! Kimengumi (2025) Ep. 3 Review

Hi everyone!

Kon-tama~ 💖

I’m Riri Ichikon! Did you watch the 3rd episode of the new “High School! Kimengumi"?

The comedy was so modern that my stomach still hurts from laughing! lol

🥊 The Feud: Yui vs. Chie

It started with a huge fight between Yui and Chie.

Poor Chie was so annoyed by Yui’s meddling that she literally broke the wall!

Even Rei-san got kicked into the wall.

The wall was definitely the biggest victim this time lol.

It really showed how “kindness can backfire." We’ve all had those awkward moments where you try to dodge someone, but they move in the same direction, right?

📱 Social Media Parody & Video Memes

The funniest part was the “Re-enactment Video" of their fight being uploaded online!

It even had scrolling comments like Niconico Douga (Japanese video site).

Seeing the Kimengumi world fully integrated with SNS and LINE-style apps feels so surreal and hilarious.

🐱 Jako-chan’s “Gap Moe"

The second half was about the “Ome-gumi" girls.

Jako, the leader, acts like a tough delinquent but she’s actually such a sweetheart.

The classic trope of a “Bad girl x Abandoned kitten" was too cute! ✨

Her voice acting was spot on, especially the gap between her tough persona and her “dere" side.

🤔 Is Rei-san too cool now?

Here’s my main concern: Isn’t Rei-san being a bit too cool in this version?

He correctly judged Jako’s condition to stop the fight and gave Chie great life advice.

In the original, he was more of a clumsy weirdo, so seeing him act like a “wise master" feels a bit strange to me lol.

Maybe I’m the only one who misses his more pathetic side?

What do you think about this “Smart Rei-san"?

Let me know in the comments!
